Brian Eitemiller Printpack Career Journey January 2024

A Printpack Associate Spotlight Series

For over a decade, Brian Eitemiller has been busy helping Printpack provide value to our customers. Since joining the company, he has held four different roles that have allowed him to increase his knowledge and expand his responsibilities at our Prescott Valley, AZ plant.

Brian used to work for a kitchen cabinet company; after the housing market crashed, he was looking for a fresh start and a job where he could grow in the future. He heard from friends that Printpack was a great organization and was hiring, so he decided to apply.

Today, Brian is a Quality Specialist and a jack of all trades. He is also the Plant Sanitarian, the Trial Coordinator, the Learning Coordinator, and the Plant Management Representative

Brian consistently goes beyond the ordinary. Let’s learn more about his career journey in his own words.

Q: Why did you choose to work at Printpack?

A: Others highly recommended it, and Printpack has a good reputation in the local community.

Q: How has this experience added to your skills so far?

A: I am mastering time management and limiting the amount of rabbit holes I fall into.

Q: Aside from your hard work, what are some other things at Printpack that you have felt aided your career path?

A:  I have taken many of the principles taught during Extreme Ownership and applied them to my family life.

Q: Would you recommend Printpack to other professionals?

A: Yes, I would. The opportunity for advancement is easy to appreciate. I also enjoy the fact that Printpack’s principles and values align with mine.

Q: What makes a successful associate at Printpack?

A: Honesty and integrity. Without these two, there is no trust.

Q: What kind of advice would you give to Printpack candidates?

A: Be yourself, never make anyone wait on you, and own your mistakes. Nothing is more expensive than a missed opportunity.

Q: What’s the best part of working at Printpack?

A: I enjoy the teamwork and the camaraderie. The associates I work with are always pushing me to achieve new goals and recognizing me for my efforts. Although I see myself retiring from Printpack at some point in time, I can also see myself working remotely while traveling on my fifth wheel.
